Procurou-se determinar periodo critico de competicao entre plantas daninhas e cultura do arroz de sequeiro nas condições edafoclimáticas do município de Ouro Preto D'Oeste-RO. Utilizou-se arroz IAC-164, semeada em linhas espacadas de 0,5cm, sendo distribuidas 50 sementes/m linear. Delineamento experimental foi em blocos casualizados com quatro repeticoes. Cada parcela teve uma area de 15cm2(3,0 x 5,0m), com uma area util de 8,0m2 (2,0 x 4,0m). Foram avaliados os sequintes tratamentos: cultura linha de plantas daninhas ate 10,20,40,50 e 60 dias apos a emergencia e durante todo o ciclo; e com plantas daninhas ate 10,20,30,40,50 e 60 dias apos a emergencia e durante todo o ciclo. Abstract Banana is one of the most abundantly consumed fruits in the world for its contribution to human nutrition, including an important content of potassium. Given the social contribution of this crop in the cropping areas of Colombia, it is necessary to develop agronomic management strategies that contribute to increasing productivity and offering alternatives that regulate the effects of climate seasonality on banana production in the Uraba region of Colombia. The objective of this study was to simulate leaf development of cultivated rice genotypes and weedy red rice biotypes in climate change scenarios at Santa Maria, RS, Brazil. A leaf appearance (LAR) model adapted for rice was used to simulate the accumulated leaf number, represented by the Haun Stage, from crop emergence to flag leaf appearance (EM-FL). Three cultivated rice genotypes and two weedy red rice biotypes in six emergence dates were used.
